ABOUT ME...

I began actively painting and exhibiting—both solo and in group shows—about six years after completing my studies.
Surprisingly, it was a series of health issues that brought me back to my creative path. That "coincidence" turned into a blessing, and I'm deeply grateful for it. I never imagined this dream would truly come to life.

During those six years, I would occasionally draw, paint, embroider, or knit…
But most of my energy went into creating a vibrant garden full of plants and wildlife. You can see it in the video at the top of this page or in photos with my paintings—this living space has become an endless source of inspiration and connection.

Painting—and creativity in general—is a form of therapy for me.
It helps me find balance, especially thanks to the feedback I receive from visitors to my exhibitions and from people who reach out to me through social media. Their kind responses reassure me that I'm on the right path, and that the energy I pour into my work resonates with others, too.

I regularly write texts to accompany my paintings.
I believe words can deepen the emotional impact and help express what lies beneath the surface. The themes I explore in my art and writing are close to my heart: nature, Mother Earth, the condition of soil and groundwater, the decline of pollinators and insect life... These are more than topics—they are my inner compass.

My artistic background spans many areas.
I graduated from an arts and crafts secondary school, where I specialized in stone and ceramic processing. In addition to ceramics, we studied drawing, painting, and photography.
Later, at Palacký University in Olomouc (Fine Arts for Education), I developed my skills further through various studios—drawing, painting, graphic art, photography, intermedia, sculpture, jewelry design, ceramics, and textile.

Charitable Projects

Supporting charitable activities and organizations that help where it's most needed is an integral part of my artistic journey. I donate selected paintings to charity auctions or projects whose proceeds go to meaningful causes.

These activities are a natural way for me to give back the joy and hope that creating art brings into my life.

Selected projects:

  • 2022 – auction of a 100 × 100 cm painting, proceeds of CZK 5,500 donated to an animal shelter in Prague–Troja.

  • 2021 – The recent auction for the Animal Rescue Station near Benešov – Domov pro zvířata z.s. – was successful and brought support for the care of injured and abandoned animals.

A donated painting for the Animal Rescue Station – Parts III and IV from the "Clouds" series – contributed to achieving this result and supported a good cause.

  • 2020–2022 – collaboration with the organization Magdaléna ("Pfko") – creation of charitable works in support of care for vulnerable groups.
